Rebound WA

Rebound WA hosts free programs designed for children (5-12 years) and teens with physical disabilities.
It is held on Saturday mornings in two locations:
Mirrabooka - North & Murdoch - South.
Activities include wheelchair afl, tennis, basketball & rugby; canoeing & rowing; frawme running; utimate frisbee; athletics; cycling; table tennis; laser blaze and dance.

Cahoots

Cahoots creates and runs a variety of inclusive opportunities and services for people living with disability aged 5+.
Overnight camps, community participation and capacity-building activities are just some of the ways Cahoots help participants grow independence, develop relationships and social skills.

WADSA not only provides people with disabilities in the Perth area with exciting opportunities but also provides opportunities in sport and recreation for people with disabilities living in regional, remote and rural Western Australia. Adventure Beckons

Adventure Beckons is a small WA organisation that assists those who require additional support to "experience life through fun and adventure activities". Their adventure activities include fishing trips, zipline activities, quad bike tours, 4x4ing fun, hiking, mountain biking, farm days, beach days, kayaking, camping and water sport activities.

Rocky Bay

Rocky Bay provides a 'School's Out Holidays Program'. In this program children are able to participate in creative arts, physical activities (like yoga and mindful movement) and culinary adventures. They can even tailor the activities to suit your child's interests and abilities.

Spectrum Space
Specturm Space run a number of social programs for people with autism to have fun, develop new friendships and learn new skills. Awesome Group - 10-15 years, YES Group 13-18 years, Telethon Holiday Makers Program 5-18 years. These events are held in a number of WA locations.

Rocky Bay offers an array of engaging community groups for all ages in the Peel region.
Youth Social Group for ages 10-17 years which involves activities such as laser tag, bowling, swimming and fishing.
Mandurah Hang Out for ages 10-17 which offers activities such as disco, art & craft, cooking and games nights.

Fishability

Fishability aim “to enhance the well-being and self-esteem of Western Australians living with disabilities by providing and facilitating quality recreational fishing opportunities and experiences.” They provide free jetty and boat programs regularly. They cater for children and adults with disabilities and they have modified fishing rods, reels and vessel.

Codekids

Codekids offer a number of classes and courses across their Perth campuses. Their classes include a weekend coding class, after school coding club and school holiday coding program. For ages 6-18 years. Codekids do offer 1-on-1 classes specifically designed for students with special needs.

Coder Dojo
Coder Dojo run "a fun, free volunteer-driven, computer programming (coding) club for young people. There is a stream for students over 12 years old and a stream for children interested in Curtin's Autism Academy (AASQA)." There are many locations around Western Australia.

Ocean Heroes

Ocean Heroes "provide a unique opportunity for people on the autism spectrum to take part in organised sport backed by a highly supported, safe and inclusive environment. By running free events and surf experiences, we offer the autism community the chance to experience the thrill of riding a wave!" They run 60 minute Surf Experience sessions.

Puggles Swim Schools

Puggles Swim Schools can be found across Australia where deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) children can learn to swim in a mainstream swimming class." "The Puggles Swim program will upskill swim teachers, arming them with relevant Auslan signs and deaf awareness resources." Visit the website to find a Puggles Swim School near you.

Special Olympics Australia
"Special Olympics is a year-round multi-sports program for people with an intellectual disability – of all capabilities." The program helps participants get active, make friends, have fun, learn important life skills and promote movement, teamwork, decision making and communication. There is also a Special Olympics Young Athletes for children aged 2-8 years with and without intellectual disability .

"Phase is a fully NDIS registered provider specialising in providing disability support for young children, adolescents, and adults (0 - 65 years old)." They offer respite programs and school holiday programs (including daily excursions such as to Perth Zoo, Outback Splash, Kings Park, Caversham Wildlife Park, Bounce & Latitude).

Starkick

Starkick is an all abilities football (AFL) program that caters for boys and girls aged 5 - 17 years of age. They aim to cater for all disabilities and have the mantra "If you want to play, we'll find a way". Starkick is offered in many locations all over WA (Metro Central, Metro North, Metro South, Peel, South West, Great Southern, Pilbara, Mid West, Kimberley & Goldfields).

WADSA - Play On
WADSA (WA Disabled Sports Association) provide disability inclusive recreation programs. "Play On provides quality disability recreation opportunities delivered within 10-week terms. Each term will have a different focus so you can try new things and build your skills. Want to try kayaking? What about touch up on your footy? Here's your chance!"

Horse Power Hills

Horse Power Hills (located in Sawyers Valley) aims "to empower people living with diverse abilities to develop new skills, doscover new abilities and define the life they want to live." They offer a number of programs inlcuding horse riding, dressage and Hippotherapy ("treatment of therapy aided by a horse").

Rowing WA

There are several rowing clubs in the Perth metropolitan area "which have the ability to assist with para-rowing opportunities and can cater for athletes with mild to severe impairments". The website suggests to contact Rowing WA directly. Head to their website for more information. The website states common impairments include: Limb Deficiency, Blindness, Spinal Injury, Fused Joints, Cerebral Palsy, Ataxia & Limited Range of Motion.

Rebound WA

Rebound WA run a Frame Running program for children aged 2 - 7 years of age. This program introduces children "to the joy of running and games that can be played while running. Your child will learn how to use a frame safely and how to stop, start and steer a frame." Athletics West

Athletics West run a 'Learn to FrameRun' Series which is held at WA Athletics Stadium. The sessions are run for 7-8 weeks during school terms. This program is for children from 8 years of age through to adults and "provides a unique opportunity for participants to get sized up for a running frame, learn how to run using the Frame, and take part in running activities all in a fun, supportive environment."

Tennis Australia offer a number of programs and pathways for people of all abilities, including those with disabilities. ACE Sport Coaching

ACE Sport Coaching offer sport coaching for NDIS funded and Non-NDIS funded children. They coach children from ages 5+ up to young adults 18+.​
Ace Sport Coaching "provide 1 on 1 personalised coaching sessions to children and adults looking to gain confidence or skill in sports. Whether that’s getting more active in general, or identifying a chosen sport that they wish to improve, we assist each individual in reaching their goals".
