Warehouse circus run classes for everyone. Their Spin Out class uses circus as therapy. "It is a fantastic weekly program that specifically caters to people with a very wide range of disabilities." It caters for young people aged 5 and up.

Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT run The Junior Wheelies Camps for children 6-18 years who want to have some fun and give wheelchair sports a try. Sports include Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Cricket, Wheelchair AFL and Wheelchair Tennis.

Pegasus

Pegasus offer a range of horse riding as well as horse interaction programs designed for people with disability. Their "Mounted Programs help to build core strength, coordination and improve motor skills" and aim to reduce anxiety and support communication. Horseability is "an unmounted program that provides an introduction to horses in a safe and welcoming environment.

Communities at Work provide an After-School Program for teens with a disability, where they can "engage with other teens and develop and enhance their social skills as well as build peer networks." They offer a "range of social, recreational and life skill activities in a fun and supportive environment, with qualified and dedicated life skills educators (disability support workers.)"

Sanctuary Aus is a local child and family service in Canberra. They run a number of programs and groups. 'Club Mojo' is for children aged 7-11 years who are struggling to manage their emotions and social skills. 'Cool Kids with Autism' is a anxiety management program for children aged 7-11 years.

Special Olympics Australia

"Special Olympics is a year-round multi-sports program for people with an intellectual disability – of all capabilities." The program helps participants get active, make friends, have fun, learn important life skills and promote movement, teamwork, decision making and communication. There is also a Special Olympics Young Athletes for children aged 2-8 years with and without intellectual disability  .

Communities at Work run in-centre programs for people living disability in Tuggeranong and Gungahlin as well as from the Malkara Specialist School during the school holidays. They "offer disability programs specially targeted to school-aged children, teens, young adult and adults." The Malkara School Holiday Program is for children 5-12 years. See website for details.

Woden Valley Gymnastics Club run an 'Enable Gym' program to help children and young adults with special needs. They have one-on-one classes, small group classes and the potential to progress to group classes.
