Australia Zoo offers a Khaki Sensory Program for children 7+ who have specific health or medical requirements. Where these children are not able to participate in the Zoo Keeper for a Day program. This program runs throughout the year, outside of the QLD school holiday period.

What Ability helps people with disabilities between the ages of 4 and 64 years old, get out and about in the community and have fun. They provide a variety of different group camps across Australia. These range from between 2 days and 1 night up to 7 days and 6 nights away.

Swara celebrating all abilities

Swara offers school ages services for participants aged 10-19 years who are getting ready to leave school and want to build the skills they need to become an independent adult. The "School Age Program runs throughout every school holidays, including the extended December to January break." Activities include outings, games, social events and opportunities to build their capacity.

"Circability is a program specially designed by and for those who identify as living with disability. It caters to most levels of physical and intellectual capacity." This program is for anyone aged 14 or older. Sessions include ground acrobatics, circus-based improvisation & performance making, object manipulation with hoops, balls, scarves and much more.

Multicap

Multicap offer an out of school care program for children with disability. Children engage in both indoor and outdoor play as well as structured and planned daily activities. Multicap also offer Vacation Care across a number of Queensland locations.  School-aged children with disability can develop skills and connections through positive friendships and relationships with their peers.

Camp Cooby provide 3 holiday camp programs Junior Holiday Program (ages 6-12), Senior Holiday Program (ages 12-16) and a Customised Therapeutic Camp (ages 7-13) which is part of the 'Mindware Psychology Adventure Program (MAP)' and "helps children find their 'compass of life' and is designed for junior campers that may present with higher needs."

Autism Camp Australia provide camps in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. The Sunshine Coast Program "runs over 4 days and 5 nights. It is a beach-side location. "The Variety Kids Sports Camp offers kids living with a physical disability the opportunity to try out a variety of different sports to determine which they enjoy and want to continue playing. It is a two and a half day experience open to kids aged between 6 – 15 years old."

Making Waves

Making Waves provide a sailing program for children living with disabilities. "The Winds of Joy is an inclusive, safe space, designed to give young people with disabilities an empowering and uplifting experience on the water. Participants are supported by skilled volunteer sailors, who will give students the opportunity to have hands-on experience with a large high performance yacht, specially fitted to accommodate wheelchairs."

"Special Olympics is a year-round multi-sports program for people with an intellectual disability – of all capabilities." The program helps participants get active, make friends, have fun, learn important life skills and promote movement, teamwork, decision making and communication. There is also a Special Olympics Young Athletes for children aged 2-8 years with and without intellectual disability  .

Gold Coast Disability and Youth (GCDAY) host a number of group programs, including Dungeons & Dragons, Mini Painting, Anime Club, Nintendo Switch Club, Personal Tarining, Pokemon Go, Sword Fighting, School Holiday Programs, Monthly Fun Days, Online Programs, LGBTQIA+ Social Group and Board Games. GCDAY also provide individual support.
